CAAMFest

On San Francisco Movie Screens And Venues Throughout The City
7-10 May 2026

CAAMFest is returning for its 44th year, featuring over 60 films that capture the current zeitgeist of Asian American communities. The festival’s completely in-person screenings, panel discussions, and other programs will be centered around the AMC Kabuki in San Francisco's Japantown, highlighting the city’s long history as a hub for Asian American community building with national impact. 

Opening Night will begin at the AMC Kabuki Theater with an advance screening of the documentary feature The A-List: 15 Stories from Asian and Pacific Diasporas. Following the film, CAAM will host a Gala at the Asian Art Museum featuring tastes of the most talked about Asian American food and beverages in the Bay Area.

Spanning continents and generations, Kintsukuroi is a powerful portrait of resilience and dignity in the face of injustice—an intimate human drama set against one of America’s darkest chapters.

On San Francisco Movie Screens And Venues Throughout The City
28 May - 7 June, 2026

The Silver Anniversary of the annual San Francisco Documentary Film Festival (SF DocFest) will take place from May 28 to June 7, 2026. Celebrating non-fiction films and organized by the parent organization, SF IndieFest, the festival will feature a hybrid format, with in-person presentations at the Roxie Theater, 3118 16th Street and the Vogue Theater, 3290 Sacramento St in San Francisco, alongside virtual screenings. 

The full festival program will be announced on May 6, 2026.
